Sharon Berry Clark
In 2017, Sharon Clark was selected as the Executive Director of the Mississippi Board of Cosmetology and cast a vision of reform for the Agency.
She is responsible for the administration, leadership, and management of the Agency. She is also responsible for the management of the staff, marketing the Agency and implementing new events and programs to better serve Mississippians. In this role, Mrs. Clark provides statewide leadership in the provision of services that facilitate cost-effective license processing and solutions for the licensees of Mississippi.
Mrs. Clark is a graduate of Holmes Community College with a major in Business Administration.
She has over 29 years of financial and marketing experience in both the private sector and the state level of the public sector. Mrs. Clark has worked with state agencies to champion economic development, assistance, and education for the most vulnerable people across the State of Mississippi. Mrs. Clark has participated in numerous government task forces and committees.
Mrs. Clark was named one of the 2018 Top 50 Businesswomen in Mississippi by Mississippi Business Journal.
She is a member of the National-Institute Council of State Boards of Cosmetology and the Council on Licensure, Enforcement & Regulation.
Mrs. Clark resides in Brandon, MS.
